Casa José Coltro is a legally registered, non-profit Brazilian charity founded in 1988, run by volunteers and maintained by donations. It is located in Campo Limpo, a poor suburb of São Paulo, and provides services for a large impoverished population. As of 2008, Casa José Coltro has a waiting list of more than 360 children, which demonstrates the great need in the community it services.
Orphanage Lar de Ismael
Orphanage Lar de Ismael is a non-profit entity, run by volunteers and maintained by donations. It is located in Cipó, a poor suburb of São Paulo. It assists orphans and abandoned children ages 6 months to 17 years old.
Its main objective is to provide shelter, food, clothing, education and support for the adoption process.
