Who We Are
Hearts In Action (HIA), a tax exempt American 501(c) (3) not for profit, non-political and non-religious charity organization founded in 2001 by a group of non-paid volunteers living in Milwaukee-Waukesha area.
Our Mission
To provide financial assistance for educational and social programs developed to aid the poorest communities in Brazil, at the same time, creating meaningful opportunities for Waukesha - Milwaukee communities to support Hearts In Action (HIA) initiatives.
Our Vision
Act now and make a difference by supporting serious projects, which provide education and life-changing opportunities for orphans and impoverished children and teenagers of Brazil.
What We Do
To make a difference, we are working with two organizations in Brazil, chosen specifically because of their integrity and serious commitment to provide education and essential services to two impoverished communities in São Paulo, Brazil. These organizations are: Casa José Coltro (Home Jose Coltro) and Orfanato Lar Ismael (Orphanage Lar Ismael).
